Question: When I try to watch a video the page is black, no stream buttons!
Answer: You are missing the DivX Web Player plugin. If you have not downloaded it yet, get it here.

Question: I downloaded the DivX Web Player plugin, and nothing still shows up! I see the stream bar, but no video.
Answer: Our videos should be on autoplay, but just in case hit the play button. If that still does not work chances are that the video has be moved, removed, or modified. Please contact us and tell us the Anime, and Episode number. We will fix it soon as possible, and let you know when it is fixed.

Question: Why do the videos take so long to stream?
Answer: We upload large files since we do not lower the quality like many other sites. For this to work properly over the internet, you will need at least a DSL connection to view smoothly. To test your connection speed to our server, please visit this link here.

Question: During an episode, it stops somewhere and will not continue. I have reloaded it many times and it still occurs.
Answer: If you refreshed and have had your friends test it and get the same results, the main issue is that we have uploaded the file but something messed up during the uploading process. Please contact us and tell us the Anime and Episode number. We will fix it soon as possible, and let you know when it's fixed.

Question: The website looks all dysfunctional and messed up! What's going on?
Answer: Try refreshing the page, if this doesn't work, what browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer 6, it will look all dysfunctional. We recommend you updating to Internet Explorer 7 or using Firefox. Also if you're using a custom browser that's underground, that may be the reason why.

Question: When I open an anime episode, the colors are very abnormal.
Answer: Try closing and reopening your browser, if this does not work, restart your computer. If it's still acting up, please contact us on our forums or contact page. We will verify if it's the file that is distorted or a client side problem.

Question: When I adjust the desktop dimmer settings, it doesn't work!
Answer: Restart your computer, then it will take effect.

Question: Desktop Dimmer starts to fade, but my anime starts to become really choppy, how do I fix this?
Answer: We recommend you leave it at it's default, it works best on those specific settings. If you set the numbers really low, it will lag your video during fading or even after. Better yet, why not full screen the video? It's high quality so the picture will still be excellent.

Question: Can I check my connection speed to your servers?
Answer: No, sorry we do not allow speed testing anymore. We may think about adding this back in the future, but for now it's gone.

Question: I downloaded all the codecs, and I still have no sound!
Answer: We actually have only found one main cause for this, and it's because chances are you are using a mac. Macintosh computers do not have many codecs (as it isn't usually for personal hobby uses, but for more business). There is no fix for this at the moment, but for now I guess you have to get a Windows operating system.

Question: I see the video, but there is no audio! Some video's have audio, but some don't!
Answer: You need the CCCP Codec pack, you can download it here. If that doesn't fix it try installing this (AC-3 ACM). (Right click INF file, and select Install)

» Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Are all anime episodes on this site free?
Answer: Yes, everything we stream on this website is absolutely free! There's no catch whatsoever.

Question: Is this legal?
Answer: Yes, this site is perfectly legal. How you ask? Well we only host unlicensed anime, meaning nobody has bought rights to the anime in the United States. Once licenses are purchased, we will be forced to remove the corresponding anime.

Question: What is the desktop dimmer feature?
Answer: It is a very neat trick on the DivX Web Player, if you leave your computer idle for 15 seconds (do not move the mouse or type anything) it will start to dim! It will dim to 90% darkness over 20 seconds. You can adjust the feature in the preferences. (Right Click On The Video > Preferences > Desktop Dimmer)

Question: When are episodes released?
Answer: We release episodes as soon as we receive them. Look for common release dates on previous episodes, chances are that's the day it will be released. It's usually 1 episode every week for an anime. We will try to release them on our website the same day they are submitted. If not, we will upload it the next day.

Question: Why aren't you releasing 'insert name here'?!
Answer: It isn't popular enough and will take up to much space. Nah just kidding! Either nobody has requested it, or nobody is currently adding subtitles. Please request it on our forums and we will give you a direct answer.

Question: Why are some anime episodes a tiny bit lower in quality or higher in quality
Answer: When we download anime, not all of them come in a specific format, but we upload exactly what we get. We never lower the quality, but we try to get the highest quality possible.

Question: Are the anime episodes downloadable?
Answer: We host links to the .torrent file so you can download the anime on your favorite Torrent program.

Question: What's a .torrent file?
Answer: A .torrent file is a file that is opened in your Torrent program and tells your program where to download the files from. All you need is uTorrent. Want to know how to set up uTorrent? Try reading up on their guides.

Question: I'm a little hacker and I figured out how to download them off your website!
Answer: Well honestly, you can download the non divx files (which are way better) at Animesuki. What you’re just doing is ridiculous and lagging our servers, so we will be forced to ban your ip permanently from our server. This means you can't visit our site. So just download them off Animesuki or use the Torrent links.

Question: How do you fund your website?
Answer: We pay for web hosting through your donations. You can donate here. The more donations we receive, the better features we can provide, such as hosting even more anime.

Question: Why are some animes in widescreen and some in full screen?
Answer: We upload what we download. We try to provide widescreen if possible, but if not we will upload the full screen version. Not all animes come in a standard format.

Question: Is the banner to your website a specific cycle or random?
Answer: It's random.

Question: Can I request a specific banner?
Answer: Possibly, if we have enough free time we may make a banner that you request, or even host one of your own if it looks nice and matches the site. If you visit the donate page and donate a certain amount, we'll be able to place your name in there!

Question: I just donated, where’s my award?
Answer: Awards are not received immediately, we manually process each award. Please wait for your award to be processed, and if it is not processed after 1-3 days, please contact an administrator on our forums and they will gladly do it right then and there.

Question: Why are some anime downloads seperated, while some are in packs?
Answer: We cannot host torrents off our website, however the downloads we offer are on many other torrent listing sites. Fansub groups usually will release all the episodes in a pack once it is finished, and everybody will seed these and not the seperate episodes. If you would like to only download a specific episode in the pack, you can select which ones you would like in the torrent program.

Question: What do the green checkmarks and orange arrows mean on the list page?
Answer: The green checkmark means the series is complete, and we have all the episodes. The orange up arrow means it is currently airing, or in the process of being uploaded/added.
